In the heart of Pass Christian, Mississippi, a unique and heartwarming business has taken root, connecting people to their loved ones in a meaningful way. Bloombridge, founded by Kristen Allen, delivers silk flower arrangements to gravesites, ensuring that no one is forgotten, no matter the distance.

From Promise to Purpose

Kristen Allen, CEO of Bloombridge, started the company from a deeply personal promise. "Don’t let me be the only one out here without flowers," her grandmother had insisted. Determined to honor that promise, Kristen launched Bloombridge, a business dedicated to spreading love and remembrance through beautifully crafted silk flower arrangements.

Solving a Modern Dilemma

With families spread across the country, many find it challenging to visit cemeteries regularly. Bloombridge addresses this issue by delivering flower arrangements to gravesites, ensuring that loved ones are remembered and honored. "We send a photo confirmation with each delivery, providing peace of mind and a tangible connection," Kristen explains. This service has brought comfort to many who can’t be there in person.

How Bloombridge Works

Bloombridge operates through a network of dedicated "Bloombridge runners" across the United States. Here’s how it works:

Order Placement:
Customers visit the Bloombridge website and place an order for a silk flower arrangement. They can choose from various designs and specify delivery details.

Runner Assignment:

Bloombridge assigns a local runner to the cemetery where the delivery needs to be made. With a vast network of runners, they ensure coverage in every state.

Delivery and Confirmation:
The runner delivers the arrangement to the specified gravesite, takes a photo of the decorated headstone, and sends it to the customer. This photo provides visual proof that the order has been fulfilled, allowing customers to feel connected despite the distance.

More Than Just Flowers

The significance of Bloombridge’s service extends beyond convenience. It offers emotional relief and a sense of fulfillment for those who wish to honor their loved ones but cannot do so in person. "Seeing the photo of the decorated gravesite can be profoundly comforting," Kristen notes. "It’s about spreading love and keeping memories alive."

Connections with Find a Grave

Bloombridge's mission is further enhanced through its partnerships with Find a Grave. These collaborations help customers locate their loved ones' gravesites and share family history. "Working with Find a Grave allows us to offer a more comprehensive service, connecting people not only to their loved ones’ final resting places but also to their family heritage," Kristen says.

Expansion and Growth

Since its inception, Bloombridge has grown significantly. "We started in 2017, and in just a few years, we've expanded to cover every city and state in the USA," Kristen proudly shares. Despite the growth, Bloombridge remains a close-knit, small business dedicated to its mission.

The Team Behind Bloombridge

Kristen’s journey with Bloombridge wouldn't be possible without her incredible team. "I have amazing partners like Patrick Norman, Huey Ngo, and Lulu Intan, who came on as angel investors, and Justin Johnson, who has been with me from the beginning," she says. She also credits Jeremy Glisson for doing an amazing job managing operations and the network of runners who make everything possible. Each member of the team brings unique strengths, making Bloombridge a true community effort.

Personal Connection

Kristen’s personal connection to her business is evident. "It's not just about the flowers; it's about what they represent – love, remembrance, and connection," she reflects. "I love going to cemeteries; it’s a peaceful place where you can be surrounded by people without a word being said."

A Life of Creativity and Connection

Kristen is not only a businesswoman but also an artist and a mother. Living in Pass Christian, she enjoys the beauty of Mississippi’s Gulf Coast. "I love being able to walk out my door and be on the beach in minutes. It’s a place where I can reflect, create, and connect," she says.

Hobbies and Passions

Outside of Bloombridge, Kristen's life is rich with hobbies and passions. She enjoys fishing, painting, and even playing the piano. "I believe in experiencing everything life has to offer," she shares. Her love for art and people shines through in every aspect of her life, from creating handwritten notes to participating in pottery classes with her mom.

Conclusion

Kristen Allen's Bloombridge is more than just a business; it's a testament to love, dedication, and the power of keeping promises. By addressing the challenges of modern life and leveraging partnerships with Find a Grave, Bloombridge ensures that the tradition of honoring our loved ones with flowers continues, no matter the distance. Kristen’s journey from a heartfelt promise to a thriving business is an inspiring story of connection, creativity, and compassion.
